Western Nebraska | You get a certain amount of points for each purchase at other stores, for Cabella's purchases it is double points. I have been pleasantly surprised lately with the prices I have found at Cabella's. It might be worth your time to start double checking prices. At least on ammo and reloading supplies they have either matched or beat pretty much all other prices that I have been able to find. About the only store I have found that has been consistently cheaper than them is "Lock Stock and Barrel."
I use a CC as a replacement for cash, except I never take out cash on it (like an ATM). It gets used for just about all of my purchases and then paid in full each month. I just don't like to carry large amounts of cash with me and I hardly ever write checks anymore. Using it in that manner, it costs us nothing.
