We have gone to no birthday gifts at age 65. We go out for a bite to eat with a couple of cocktails and a birthday card. For Christmas it is a card and a winter trip or a new vehicle for the two of us. We both have enough clothes and stuff and if we want something we go buy it. At age 52 she might not appreciate it for her birthday. Good luck.
