Subject: RE: Getting wifi from house to shop?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Our grain drying setup is at the place where my great nephew now lives. He has a camera in the dryer shack pointing at the dryer display. He has a router for Internet in the house which is about 200' from the dryer shack. He was able to use a WiFi extender instead of needing to run wire to connect to the Internet. The camera is wired to the extender which is in the dryer shack. It is plugged into 110VAC. It broadcasts wirelessly to/from the router in his house. Once in the house, the picture is transferred to a web site hosted by the camera company.

He and I each have apps from the company on our phones. We can observe the camera where ever We can receive the internet either via WiFi or cellular. This is not 100% reliable but works well enough that we will continue with it.

I have a WiFi extender that I haven't tried yet. My goal was to improve the situation in the far end of my house. This would be unrelated to the dryer setup which on a different farm.
