Subject: RE: In floor heat

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Maybe tells us if the basement is on its own separate circuit(zone) and is the garage on its own circuit (zone).

Are they combined into a single loop under the concrete? (= can't be easily changed/modified)

Do you want the garage to be just above freezing temp, or do you use it as a hobby shop, too? (If garage only needs to be above freeze point, I wonder it if could be at end of geo circuit, right before "geo antifreeze liquid" goes back underground, into outside loop {if it was on its own zone})

If garage was needing to be 55-65 degrees F, then I wonder how much insulation you have for the perimeter and/or under slab (along with exterior/ceiling insulation, too) = I could see a garage taking a lot of extra energy if it wasn't insulated very well.
