you give no location, but almost any house has to meet building codes. that includes being ably to get a certificate of occupancy before moving in and getting insurance on it. some build a heated shop with a bathroom first. then live in a 5th wheel camper in there while the house is being constructed. i like that idea better. Gene, that’s what I’ve always heard, but I’d have to verify with my wife for sure, but I don’t recall any inspections to make sure codes were met. We built moved in, now pay lots of property tax. |
