What new "ruling" are you referring to? Is there one I missed?

Do you, or anyone else think that any person(s) that would use a drone to carry a bomb (?) with intent of doing damage or bodily harm to  people would actually make sure it has features in it making it trackable? Would they even have the "red & green lights" people are seeing? They sure don't need the lights to fly.

Do gun registrations seem to be slowing crime rates? What potential felon in his right mind (an oxymoron on purpose) is going to register his/her gun or drone or make sure it's 100% visible to the public & air traffic?

Probably the worst thing that could come of it is like a gun, drone gets stolen from some law abiding citizen, as they have already, and is used in crime of some sorts. Whose door do you think will get knocked on so you can come down & answer some questions?? Can't happen? Think of Richard Jewell.
