we didn't have a calf puller and so we had to put a cumalong between the barn stalls and ty the cow to one end. you see the bull was throwin to big of calves and was paralizing the cows and if they didn't get up with in a few days they never did.
that was my explanation for being tired in class about the 4 th grade or so.
