Subject: RE: Ethanol E10 vs E???

Boone, Iowa
I have brought up this question more times than I can count. A friend of mine and I were talking about this when he was looking at buying an E85 vehicle. There are only a limited number of vehicles that are available for E85. Looking out in a parking lot where we were having this conversation, we decided that if everyone bought E85 vehicles from here on out, the current registered vehicles would be in circulation for at least another 20-25 years. Why not offer E20 that would still work in every car and truck you see moving down the road. I think it would be easier to do this than offer retrofit kits to make a vehicle E85 friendly and could double the usage that we are currently at, as stated in other post.
