Subject: tire size on sprayer tractor

St.Clair Co. IL.
We switched to 15" bean rows this yr. from drilled beans(no-til) we noticed a lot of damaged beans that did not recover from being run over with the sprayer tractor, we now us a 7040 AC with 18.4 tires, thinking about going to a narrower tire what does others use? Would this be a wise move or was this just one of those yrs. we were very dry most of the yr. and beans really didnt grow properly. like I said first yr. with 15"rows. in drilled beans we ran over 18"in. of beans= 18" gone we run over a row now and 30" plus gone and weeds came back in ever wheel track.
Thanks Bob
