I'd use a pair of Ubiquiti NanoStation AC locos (NS-5ACL) for the point-to-point wireless link between the buildings. Then you just need a regular wireless access point in the shop to get wifi in there. You'll also need Ubiquiti power injectors since those don't ship with the NanoStation Locos.

This will work. Can you put masts of some sort on the house and/or shop to get the antennas line of sight? This stuff works flawlessly if the antennas can communicate well. With things between them blocking signal it might give you problems.

I have Ubiquiti wireless equipment connecting my shop to my house and in my shop are three very high resolution security cameras that are pushing data 24/7 back to the house. It has never so much as missed a second of video. Works just as good as if the cameras were connected via Ethernet.
