| I have heard that there are some programs that are on the mac and not the pc. These are programs that render video.

What I would do and Microsoft is pushing us this way is to have windows 10 and have the ability to run Linux, too. You can dual boot Linux, too. I think this is the way to go. With microsoft letting linux in the door, then things should get nicer between windows and linux in the future. Linux is safer because there are fewer PCs running linux. There are also some very beefy versions of linux security wise. The nice thing about linux is that there are versions that can run on older, very slow PCs.
