Lots of things will do 100 mph. Not all that big of a deal. More then just a few will do 120, but that takes a world more power then 100, especially in something with no aerodynamics. Getting from 120 to 140 is another order of magnitude. 150+ is pretty rare air. At about 120 or thereabouts, things start happening REAL fast. I would drive most low traffic interstates at 100 all day long in a modern high performance car with no discomfort. If I knew I did not have to worry about someone else, I would drive a straight interstate flat out in such a vehicle. There are claims in this thread which do not pass the BS detector. I believe most of the bikes, but some of the cars or trucks claims are simply not within the realm of possibility. As for the original question, no comment.
