Seen one on the discovery channel or one of those cable shows. Guy on a mtn in Colo using a stream (his - water rights) and diverting some water into a 8 inch pipe makeing all his electric and more. He had the advantage of "fall" and enough water to fill a 8 inch pipe. Real simple water turbine / generator setup. I like your idea - pic's and post when you get started. I wish I could have cought more of the show and wish they'd reshow it . . . .
