Yes, Alsmer was beyond words. This was Feb 93!

Proud of my Dutch heritage. They are good people. Long history there you know....

Never will forget asking my host farmers where the sea level was and they pointed at the roof of the living room we were sitting in.

I asked him about his wheat yields and he was very shy about that. Turned out they were about 110 bu per acre compare to the neighbors 140! Remember this was 15 years ago!

Asked to see a soil test and when I got to converting the numbers they blew my mind!

1000 lbs P, 2000 lbs K, they made their best money selling seed potatoes to Russia at that time...
