| Had the same question this summer on what to buy for a computer. I went back and forth over windows vs MAC and we finally decided on a MAC.
No question we made the right decision!
My daughter is very happy with this laptop.
Boots up immediately and can get to work in college taking notes or whatever she needs to do.
Screen size dimensions when you see them, you think small, but that is a benefit to carrying around in backpack and is large enough to not have any issues.
With a apple student discount, we paid right around $850 plus tax for this....
We gave up hardrive space for cost reasons, if you want bigger, you pay more, we just figured with saving stuff to the cloud, we will be alright, and so far so good.
