I've had that done at some motels. I guess if they have been $crewed on a bad CC that is how they CYA. Also would keep out the "meth cookers", & "dopers" as the motel has a record for the cops if they find something "left behind". Also if someone Trashed the room. I've seen those types
I guess I don't have a problem with it.
