My iPad pro has become my go to computer.
About the only thing I run on one of my old laptops, that I don’t run on an iPad, is quicken 2007 because I haven’t looked around for a simple iPad accounting app. Most everything else I’m able to do on my ipad.
You can put music, videos, photos, books, manuals... Take photos make videos... It’s a very fast capable computing device. You might eventually find it’s your go to computing device. Mine is a 256 GB model but I store most of my files on a local HD “cloud” device and access files with other laptops and iPads on my local network.
I’m retired rent out the farm so I have no experience with 20/20.
Apple made the claim the iPad Pro was faster than 90% of the laptops on the market. Benchmarks at the time seem to support the claim:
