The anti-gunners are trying but anyone up for re-election fears voting in favor of it due to what happened in '96 to those who voted for the '94 Assault Weapons Ban.
Besides, this and a lot of other bills have little urgency and nothing to do with fixing the economy which should be job #1 with zero distractions. I don't care if they are Rebublicans or Democrats, if they aren't living, breathing and eating the economy right now, they need to get out of the way. | |
