I've been thinking about doing away with my land line, runs about $45/month with no long distance on it, we do all our long distance on cells anyway as we have free nationwide long distance on them. I did have to use the house phone to call 911 when my wife hemmoraghed at the end of December to get the ambulance there, but I could have used the cell and given the address.
Have you gotten rid of the "hard-wired" home phone?
