central - east central Minnesota - | It appeared all loads of hay were weighed (scaled locally) and the weight was on the tag (see under load number - amount). Price was bid per ton - you bought all that was on the trailer on grouped on the ground in that pile . Delivery was printed on the tag - varied from $2 to $3.50 mile one way. Straw was sold by the bale for the amount on the trailer or ground pile.
