“These are the times that try men's souls.”
We've been getting a few wedding announcements of kids getting married, no reception. Just a listing of stores they are registered at. The wife and I throw them into the garbage! These are mostly from people that don't have any involvement into the community, they are usually the takers not giver's. I choose not to support them. It's most common to have a wedding out here in the country, you have food, dancing, good old time! Some people have to drive a couple of hours one way for a wedding, you need to make it worth their while to come! They don't have to spend a lot of money either. The last one I went to they had a dollar dance for the bride. That's where the men pay a dollar or what ever denomination of bills you want to give, to dance a couple of whirls with the bride. It gives the newlyweds a little extra money to go on a honeymoon.
