SE Nebraska | My Dad owns a small trucking company, and the freight rates right now are awful. He talked to two other local guys and both said they were shutting their trucks down and putting the drivers on unemployment. I keep reminding my Dad that this is a historically low time of the year, but the light at the end of the tunnel seems a little farther away this year. If the grain prices could sustain a rally maybe the off the farm jobs would pick up. This economy is starting to make things scary. | |
