NE IOWA/ SE SD | I was in the same boat about a year ago. Decided to go ahead with it, turned out getting a few jobs, but by the time the payments were made not sure if I made anything for myself. Registration was around $1300ish, Insurance is around another grand (not sure it's all pooled together) but I do remember Farm Bureau had to switch me to agmax because of the semi (I'm not sure if it was due to the way I registered it)
All in all, I don't regret it because I know that as I grow I will need it, but I do look at sometimes and wonder if I could have spent the money elsewhere.
