West Central IL | Deere did exactly that with my grandpa in the 30's.He bought a GP and equipment to go with it and then the hard times came and one day a car pulled into the yard and a couple of guys in suits got out and said they were from JD.Grandpa said I suppose your here after the equipment and they said what would we do with it,we couldn't sell it,things will get better and you'll pay for it and he did.The only tractors they had after that that weren't JD were a couple of Ford Majors.I've got some red stuff on the farm now but am still pretty loyal to JD. | |
