| NEF guns are Ok - no frills.
If I was going to get a truck gun, I'd probably get an old .30-30 unless I was going to take a lot of shots longer than 100 yards.
.30-30s are tough, cheap, short, comfortable to shoot and they lay down nicely behind a truck seat because there isn't any fluff sticking off of them to keep them from laying flat against a floor.
When you ask about the NEF - are you talking about the Handi-Rifle? The guys on handloads.com liked them well enough - i've never shot one. i can't see how it wouldn't be accurate enough on yotes. | |
