Central Nebraska | I've installed dozens of wireless bridges. I've got one with simple Nanostations running 6 cameras without any issues. It works fine as long as there is power. I'm 110% against burying Ethernet cable due to the risk of damaging the switch gear on either end of the run. I've read too much about it and with pre-terminated fiber cables being so affordable if I wasn't doing a wireless bridge I'd do fiber.
About a month ago a customer has lightning strike somewhere on his yard. It blew his underground sprinkler controller off the wall and fried his internet router, and a wireless radio. |
