Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I bought an FM transmitter that can use USB sticks or TF cards to transmit music from the memory device to an unused FM station in an older tractor. The USB sticks work fine and I thought I would make use of the small memory card that I had with an old unused phone.
I put music on the card with a card reader that I have. It seemed to play back as expected on the computer. I stuck the card in the FM transmitter and it didn't have a good feel to it. It about disappeared into the cavity. I tried it and the voice stated that a card had been inserted which was encouraging. It never did play any of the music which I know is on the card. I had to use a tool to remove the card from the device since it went in so far.
Upon investigating I found that the device expects an TF memory card and I was using a micro SD card which apparently are close to the same size but different.
I googled about the differences between the two but didn't really learn much. |
