| Why don't lawmakers just allow farm equipment manufacturers to use the widely accepted and recognized auto lighting standards ? It seems the general public and ourselves would be far more safe with widely recognized lighting. Yellow flashers work great to warn people, but when they change to a turn signal, I think it is very confusing for many motorists. Some just assume the flashers aren't working correctly and pass anyway. The SMV is fine for farm people and police, but I really don't believe most motorists know what it is.
