North Western Alberta | Yeah, I am waiting on input financing. If I can secure it, I will go another year. I never realized that to the bank, all my machinery that is paid for, except the combine, is considered worthless to the bank. It is all 15 years old or older, and they dont take it as collateral. SO, I probably would have been better to cash roll the inputs, and not pay off the machinery. Problem with that, is that if you have two bad years...then one HORRIBLE year like last year, that you cant make the payments... lol Viscious cycle. I sure hope I some day look back at this time with fondness, and say.. " Wow, those were tough times, but it sure was worth the struggle"
Im thankful, no matter which way it turns out. I will know the beginning of next week. If I cant secure the inputs, then I will book the sale with the auction company for June 20th. I hope Im taking pictures of seeding and putting them on here instead though! Ha Ha!
