Job necessary to pay bills/insurance/college for kids gets me too wound up sometimes. Getting out and simply turning wrenches for an hour or even better planting or combining and it all melts away.
Even when things go bad on the farm it is better than the office. That old fishing saying...the worst day farming is better than the best day in the office.
Seriously-I do enjoy my day job-enjoyed it a lot more before I started farming. Nothing as rewarding to me as hauling in a load of corn that was made from nothing but dirt and a little work. And come on, I am a guy-tractors and combines are just fun!
