| I saw a special on TV once about the Blackbird and it showed the fuel dripping out of the wings sitting on the tarmac. The officals interviewed stated they always took off with minimum amount of fuel then refueled after take off in the air.
The thing I have always said about the SR-71 Is " The Lockheed Skunkworks built the SR-71 Blackbird in 1962 and To date it is the fastest, highest flying plane we KNOW about. With the advancements in engine technology, composite materials and computers, What have they built since then?"

For extra credit- Who knows the super secret location of the Lockheed Skunkworks where most of our super secret aircraft were built?
