KS | Verizon is merging with Alltell in our area. You guys are making me nervous with your comments. One pain I have with all the companies is that you can not simply buy the phone you want. I have been wanting to update the G'zone or equivalent type "heavy duty" phone. Well Alltell doesn't carry it, you have to go to the phone company that has the phone, not get the phone and set it up with your current number. Sure, you can take your number with you, but how about the freedom to buy what you want rather than being told, "this is what you get".
