We’ve got a field of alfalfa and red clover that is over mature due to weather. We are going to mow this afternoon and round bale tomorrow. Plan is to individually wrap and make baleage to try and salvage some feed value. My question is, what moisture should we target? I have a moisture tester
Last year we made oatlage, but it was plenty wet in our opinion, cows loved it though.
