NW Ohio | It’s July with August right around the corner. It’s supposed to be hot. That being said, much of the corn in my neck of the woods won’t be pollinating until the first part of August. My corn is acting like it’s the middle of June. Usually a dry June gets the roots shooting down so it can survive hotter temps to come. I’m not sure though that this year’s corn roots can get through the beaten down soil of this spring. | |
