Subject: Pig weed and waterhemp question

Got a field that in better soils have acres of pigweed and waterhemp due to a neighbor not controlling a patch up stream a couple of years ago. I plant extend beans and am happy with genetics and yields but i am across the road from a town and will not risk drift or vaporization. I had plannned to put my residual on immediately after planting but a 20percent chance of rain overnight turned into 6 inches over next week. Had to replant and now i have a carpet of weeds and 2 week old replant beans. My retailer is telling me a quart of powermax and a quart ofprefix will clean them right up but wait till beans have a trifoliate out. Rain from hurricane in forcast early next week and i dont want to allow these weeds to get large. He is supposed to take a look and help with timing but i want your opinions due to never doing this before. I only worked ground in 1st place due to combine tracks
