We went old school for this one. Had to replace the tires on the pan. Did one side some years back. It wasn't fun not sure but the tires may be older then me. So they didn't want to come off. Last time I tried to take them off. This time I just started cutting. The rims were rusty so I went to Harbor Freight and got a needle scaler. It was cheap and worked better then I expected. Got everything cleaned up and painted. The color on the cap and the color on the rims don't mach. Then put t all back together.
Yes the tries have a 2 piece rim. That is the old school part. And nothing happened when I put air to them. I did have a chain around things and stood back just in case.
