FWIW, at the local processor, a sugar tanker shows up at least weekly ( probably more , but I wasn't there to see it )during the sweet corn processing season. If the corn is a little on the over mature side, a lil drop of sugar brings back the 'sweetness'. I assume the tanker carries HFCS, but it could be another sugar source.
