C IL | I haven’t seen an updated report since the late June acres. Couple market services I used had corn about 85-86 and beans about 88 before that report. Was a big switch from expected for sure.
As far as being long the market, I capitulated today after close on 1/3 of 2018 corn. Left my modest ZC19 spec longs (PP corn hedge that I didn’t lift after planting). And haven’t priced any 2019 corn yet.
Guys in the FSA office today were chatting about mid-June corn making silage, they were hoping it made 160-ish. Those yields would be in line with the 80% of APH the University research suggests.
