Very nice story that I can relate to. My dad had a very nice cement mixer on wheels . Some of the neighbors would borrow it. One time friends and neighbors had borrowed it. Then the parents and all of their kids hit each other head on in a car crash. There were no survivors. The entire family gone in an instant. We could see the accident from our yard. Months later there was an estate auction . Dad of coarse went and gladly would have bought his cement mixer on the auction but it wasn't there. No one knew who had it. At least 20 yrs later a very distant neighbor pulled in the yard with it. He said it took him this long to find the owner. He kept it sheded and was in perfect shape. You just never know. Maybe who ever borrowed my rake 30 years ago will bring it back.
