In this part of the world most people pull over and stop. Don't think I've ever seen anyone actually get out of their vehicle. Usually the funeral procession will have a law enforcement escort - one car to lead and another or two to block traffic at intersections. If there is only one blocker he will pass the procession to get to the next intersection so he can block the traffic there. City cops do it to the city limits. County takes over from there if the cemetery is outside the city limits.
