We run 2x2 dry. Smaller operation. Nice to put fertilizer close to seed when planting early into colder soils. Use sulpher and zinc not sure that would pay if broadcast. We only spread ahead of beans so makes up for some of the time list. Downside slows planting down filling and fertilizer is hard on the planter. Central Ohio.
