Kips, we use sch 80 threaded. Also use torque arrestor. We also use brass couplings, we never use cast galvanized fittings I've had them split on me, darn near dropped a pump 580' on galv pipe. We only use PVC down to around 220' deeper we still use galvanized.


Seems any kind of threaded pipe would needlessly complicate the process. For us, a 120 foot well is two men and 5 minutes to get it laid out on the ground. That won't be happening with threaded galvanized or PVC.
