| 500s are running fine with older software, no need to upgrade. I do recommend running vs 5.0. Do not load 5.10.
When it is acting up push the no 1 button to bring up the info screen. The first push will show the memory remaining, probably on the bottom line. If it is under 100 hours, I would delete some data.
Second push will bring up satellite info. Will show correction source, number of sats, etc.
If problem continues, I would bet on either the coax cable or antenna. | |
