What does your vet use for injections?

The only thing added for the dehorned heifers was Lidocaine (cheap), Penicillin (cheap), and Meloxicam (cheap). The heifers were already in the chute for Bangs and/or, Vision 7, and pour. Took less than 45 minutes to shave, dehorn and suture 2 head + vaccinate and pour. Without our chute and head gate it would have been more since it could have taken longer or had to pay for a chute charge for the vet to bring and setup a chute. Our vet charges a trip charge (about $1/mile) and the rest is by the hour. We had all pg heifers caught in headlocks, gave the dog shots, and ran yearling heifers thru the chute. The surgical dehorn took about 15 minutes longer than those that were lopped off.
