just a tish NE of central ND
It doesn't matter who the vet was. I only had 4 freak deals where I needed some dehorned. They were big sized horns already.Since the holsteins(over a decade) were gone I have hardly have dealt with horns but didn't forget how to cut them off either(: ..I was strictly wondering about the cost per animal at the vet and if that is normal since I normally never have horns cut at the vet.
.....Our small animals keep our vets in our area busy and paid for and most importantly in our community , without small animals paying their way we wouldn't be able to afford to keep a vet service close by for just livestock. People spend more on dogs and cats than on livestock. I'm not in that category. No house pats here.Just the way it is.
....Are you talking semen collection for AI freezing?...or Fertility testing?
