Exactly. We should have a new rule on NAT. Whenever someone discusses that the old crop isn't there, they then need to post what % of old crop corn they are sitting on and what % of their normal delivery timing that is. No wonder basis has been strong. As of June 1, the commercials had 300 million less bushels of corn while on farm was up 200 million bu y-o-y and in a rising market. Surprised any corn was delivered in June.
Have you heard of anybody slaughtering herds or e being shut down?
I’ll be out of old crop as most here will be long before new crop, we had a short crop locally last year and this years crop don’t look as pretty as that pig along with a few less acres planted. |
