NS Canada | Possibly, but the signs don't quite line up with that either, but likely as close as anything.
I only have the remaining sick calf, and to look at her she appears basically normal, but wanders without purpose. Will go right thru fences, but responds to the shock, doesn't want to eat or drink much yet.
2 cows walked thru fences in opposite directions, the one in the gully , and I found the other completely out of the pasture, crossed a road and made her way into a forest bog - took some searching to find her, but the heat and stink helped. The sick cow sent to the lab stood there 90% brain dead it seemed, no unusual head or neck position. Being a nervous cow, it was almost like she wanted to respond to you working around her, but couldnt piece it together to do so. Wouldnt walk, but would brace herself if you tried to push her over. | |
