NB
Ferns come to mind .
Fe w years ago had some cattle that were hanging out in a neighbors bottom land...during heat of the day. Had a 400 pound healthy calf that appeared blind and stumbly...he was easy to catch , unusual.
Vet examined animal...asked a ton of questions...asked it there were fern around...the bottom land was a mature stand of silver maple....ground was solid stand of ferns waist high....
Vet gave massive dose of Viamin B...told to keep giving it daily till I could not catch critter....took 5 days....animal recovered 100%.
Apparently something in fern that sucks the Vit B out of their system.
