Subject: satellite NDVI paints a bleak picture

Looking at our latest GreenReport maps, I was struck by just how bad the eastern Corn Belt stands out compared to average for early July. Nothing new to you guys, but a sad state of affairs in IN & OH and also around the southern SD-MN border. Crazy, but it doesn't look like IL has any areas worth writing home about.

We publish a web map with the latest imagery at the link below, where you can zoom in to see more detail. E.g., the valleys for the lower Missouri and its tributaries (especially in MO proper) are trashed, no doubt from being underwater, not planted, or way behind.
