The other 2 you have to figure out on your own. But are just as important as cheap feed.
Every time I fed cull cows I worked out the math and it was a home run. Haven’t feed cull cows for 2 years maybe 3. Time flies.
Make some calls, get stuff locked in and run with if it the math says yes.
One year I bought cull cows for 63 cents and sold them for $1 only regret is I saved a pen for feeders.
Go sit at 5 sale barns for 5 weeks in the fall, pay attention to who cows. There is a reason. | |
